The Curriculum is balanced and broadly based with the emphasis placed on English, Mathematics and Science. The full range of National Curriculum subjects is covered in order that the varying interests and skills of the children may be developed fully. History, Geography, French, Music, Drama, Art, Design Technology, Information Technology and Physical Education all make their contribution to this end.

The R. E. syllabus is based on the National Curriculum and gives the children a good grounding in Christianity as well as insight into the other major world religions. Our regular times of worship reflect the ethos of the School and enhance the children’s religious knowledge as well as their grasp of citizenship.
The children engage in Design Technology lessons throughout the School, learning new skills and developing their design ideas in a variety of ways in accordance with the National Curriculum. These include puppets and paper engineering, vehicle and cam mechanisms, stitched money containers and model chairs. They learn to work to a given brief, to modify their designs and to evaluate the finished products.
From the earliest years the children use a wide range of media in Art and Design to produce work in two and three dimensions. The School also has a kiln, allowing every child the opportunity to see their work in clay fired and glazed.
Two modern well-stocked libraries, a full digital audio visual system in the Hall and up to date audio visual aids including a recently modernised and re-equipped computer suite are used to complement classroom teaching. All children take part in a programme of Personal, Social and Health Education.
