You will see from our pictures in the Gallery we are a busy Nursery who follow the Early Years Foundation Stage Curriculum using a play based environment. We will work with your children to create a well rounded child who is achieving the best of their potential.


At Highfields Nursery you can be assured our aim is to work with you at the most formative stage of your child’s development. You will be given every opportunity to be informed of what your child is experiencing via Open Days, Parent Evenings and, of course, all staff are available on a daily basis to answer any questions or concerns that you may have.

We have experienced staff and pride ourselves in ensuring that we have at least one Qualified Early Years Teacher in the setting at all times as well as the Teaching Assistants.
They form close relationships with the children within the Nursery at a time when bonding is essential to the development of the child.

All staff within the Nursery will be familiar with your child’s progress and will be able to answer any queries you may have. Staff consultations take place on a daily and weekly basis to enable them to monitor your child’s progress and development.
