Children in the Early Years Foundation Stage join in the term the child turns three and stay until they are five years of age. The Foundation Unit accepts Notts County Council Early Years Funding Vouchers.
As the children move through this stage, steps are taken to ensure a seamless and sympathetic transition from Nursery, to the Reception Class and then on into the Main School.
We firmly believe in the absolute strength of the parent-child relationship and this is why parents’ views are vitally important to us. We work closely with parents and have an open door policy. This gives an extra ‘family-feel’ dimension to our setting and therefore aids the children’s positive approach and attitude to their learning.
